Role: Mechanical Design Engineer - Chassis

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37hpw, 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Chassis team based at our Head Office in Warwick. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of the team developing concepts, engineering, designing & validating our market leading future products!


You'll have:

  • A basic rounded Engineering knowledge.
    Knowledge of designing for Manufacture & Assembly.
  • Experience of relevant manufacturing processes and relevant experience/automotive knowledge including yellow goods.
  • An understanding and experience of the engineering change process.
  • A familiarity with design fundamentals of multiple vehicle systems.
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of relevant industry experience.
  • HNC/HND/Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Essential skills for the role:

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
  • Takes ownership of individual tasks and works within guidelines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Promotes safe working practises in line with Health & Safety.
