Role: Mechanical Design Engineer - Current Product

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37hpw, 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Current Product Engineering team based at our Head Office in Warwick. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of the team developing concepts, engineering, designing & validating our market leading future products!


You'll have:

  • A basic rounded Engineering knowledge.
    Knowledge of designing for Manufacture & Assembly.
  • Experience of relevant manufacturing processes and relevant experience/automotive knowledge including yellow goods.
  • An understanding and experience of the engineering change process.
  • A familiarity with design fundamentals of multiple vehicle systems.
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of relevant industry experience.
  • HNC/HND/Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Essential skills for the role:

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
  • Takes ownership of individual tasks and works within guidelines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Promotes safe working practises in line with Health & Safety.
