Role: Helpdesk Operator

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

 

As a Helpdesk Operator, you will be a key player in our IT department, responsible for delivering first-line support, administering systems, and managing our service desk.

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide internal departments with essential hardware and software, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Efficiently manage and resolve tickets within the service desk, maintaining meticulous documentation of support requests.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers and 3rd line support on infrastructure tasks as required.
  • Ensure the seamless installation, support, and maintenance of desktops, network devices, and business systems.
  • Develop comprehensive IT training documents and stay abreast of technical work instructions and procedures.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and complete any administrative tasks as necessary.

 

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Service desk administration.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including all desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask.
  • Working with IT training documentation (maintaining and creating).
