Field Service Engineer, Kent

Role: Field Service Engineer / Mobile HGV Technician

Location: prepared to cover Kent area

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 07:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday 

Join our team as a Field Service Engineer! Your role involves repairing, maintaining, and servicing customer vehicles to the highest standards, both on-site and in our workshops. From diagnosing faults to preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, your expertise will ensure top-notch service delivery.

You'll manage jobs efficiently, using PDA software for real-time logging and ensuring punctuality to commitments. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, you'll comply with company procedures and ISO9001 standards, always striving to exceed expectations.

Safety is paramount, and you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures, and using appropriate protective equipment at all times.

 

Qualifications that set you apart include:

  • Working knowledge of vehicle technology systems 
  • Maintenance and repair experience of RCVs or similar vehicles
  • Familiarity with Fleet Management or Workshop IT systems
  • Proven diagnostic and fault finding skills
  • Relevant educational qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or time served)
