Trivista awarded Midwest franchise for Dennis Eagle ProView truck

3/9/2022 9:20:00 AM
Midwest sales of the new Dennis Eagle ProView cab-over-engine (COE) truck will be exclusively through the Trivista Companies’ dealership locations in Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky and Ohio.

The truck, which was designed and built for North American waste and recycling collections, is manufactured by Dennis Eagle in Summerville, South Carolina and designed to deliver major improvements in safety and efficiency.

While the Dennis Eagle brand will be new to many operators, its components, such as 9 litre Cummins engines, the Allison transmission and Dana axles, will be very familiar.

Trivista Companies, Inc. was formed in 2017 from three long-established truck dealerships: Cerni Motor Sales in Ohio, O’Halloran International in Iowa and Uhl Truck Sales in Indiana and Kentucky. Between them, Trivista Companies has 171 years of experience in the trucking and transportation industry.

Dealership outlets are located in Painesville, Girard and Youngstown in Ohio; Des Moines, Cherokee, Carroll and Fort Dodge in Iowa; Louisville in Kentucky; and Austin, New Albany and Palmyra in Indiana.

Jim O’Halloran, Trivista Companies’ CEO, said: “We are excited for this new truck, as we continually strive to become the most customer-centric, innovative and value-creating truck, trailer and equipment solutions provider in the industry.”

“I’m sure this COE line will be a beneficial addition to the products and services we offer our customers throughout the Midwest, and it will complement the body upfitting, service and parts support we already provide.”

Dennis Eagle has been designing and manufacturing waste and recycling trucks since 1907. Today, it specializes on that industry and is the market leader in the UK. It also exports to markets around the world including the rest of Europe, Australia and South-East Asia, but it has set up its own new factory to manufacture in the United States.

Trivista will have three dedicated Sales Representatives for the ProView in the Midwest states: Mike Virgalitte in the Ohio region, Jennifer Coursey in the Indiana and Kentucky regions and Shane Broderick in the Iowa region.

Each of these Sales Representatives have a thorough understanding of the features and benefits of the ProView and the outstanding customer support and parts services Trivista offers.

“This truck is very different from everything else and is clearly designed from the bottom up with improved safety and efficiency in mind.” said Mike Virgalitte.

“The single-step, low-entry cab is going to be a game changer in the region. Customers will really enjoy the ‘easy in – easy out’ access the ProView offers.” said Jennifer Coursey.

“The most noticeable differences are the huge, panoramic windows in the cab which provide the driver with an unrivalled view of the road and other road users. It will make a big difference to the safety of cyclists, children and other drivers in the communities in which it serves. And it will directly benefit operators by reducing accidents, insurance claims and repair costs.” said Shane Broderick.
