In cluttered, busy urban streets and narrow rural roads, one of the biggest challenges drivers face is reversing. Our Dennis Eagle reverse radar assistant system is here to help. An in-cab display detects people and other significant objects at the vehicle's rear, immediately alerting the driver with a visible and audible warning.
Customers specifying the optional Autobrake function benefit for extra peace of mind. When a vehicle gets close to an obstacle, it enters the system’s red zone and the brakes are automatically applied to help prevent a collision. The brakes are then locked on for three seconds before being released.

If the same obstacle is still there, our system allows the driver to reverse cautiously. Meanwhile, the display continues to signal that the obstacle is still there. If the obstacle exits the red zone but subsequently re-enters, or if something else enters the red zone during the same reversing manoeuvre, the brakes will automatically re-apply.
The reverse radar assistant is usually factory-fitted, and we can provide an aftermarket retrofit option through our service network.
