PROGRAM FAQs

  • Anyone can apply for this apprenticeship, providing you’ll be aged 16 or over at the start of the apprenticeship, living in England and not in full-time education.

  • You don’t need any prior experience, but you should be able to demonstrate a keen interest or passion for the field you choose. This can be through subjects you studied at school, any extracurricular activities or hobbies. We provide all the training and support needed to succeed and grow in your role.

  • The apprenticeship typically lasts for around two to three years.

  • Yes, you will be paid during the apprenticeship!

  • During your apprenticeship, you'll work towards the completion of a Level 3 Vehicle Damage Paint Technician Apprenticeship Standard over a three-year period. This qualification provides a solid foundation for your future career, covering essential skills and knowledge needed for a successful career.

  • There’s a comprehensive framework in place to support your ongoing development. You’ll have regular check-ins with your manager and apprenticeship provider to ensure you’re on track and to address any concerns or questions you might have.

  • Yes, there are opportunities for progression after your apprenticeship. Many apprentices at Dennis Eagle progress through our business with our support to develop a career here.

  • You’ll support the rest of the Paint team in preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles.

  • You will develop essential skills such as attention to detail, organisation, communication, teamwork and a basic understanding of commercial paint shop processes.
