Role: Software Engineer

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37hpw, 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday

We're looking for a Software Engineer at our Head Office in Warwick. You'll look at the software development for electric vehicle applications, control system development of electric vehicle functionality whilst aligning with legislation in terms of Functional Safety and Cyber Security.

Essential knowledge and experience:

  • 5 years’ relevant industry experience
  • Experience of requirements capture from stakeholder to implementation
  • Understanding of the 'V' development model
  • Highly skilled in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Familiar with code generation
  • Automotive development of control systems and software

You will also need:

  • Minimum qualification Degree in a relevant engineering subject or the ability to demonstrate the same level of competence through a combination of other relevant qualifications, training and experience.
  • Well developed problem solving techniques
  • Ability to communicate technically complex subjects
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • The ability and willingness to visit to other companies for engineering integration
